REPRESENTING NYC x 8-BALL RADIO: DEEM SPENCER, SLYY COOPER, AND SPENSER WILLIAMS

Representing NYC is back at it, now kicking it every Friday on 8-Ball Community Radio. The D-Lo Radio crew, made of Joey Desktop, Diamond Terrifier, and DJ Flacko, spins all vinyl while the Great Marley G  freestyles with influences from his home neighborhood of Red Hook, Brooklyn.

Last week, D-Lo brought three of Queens’ finest down to the 8-Ball hq: Deem Spencer, Spenser Williams,  and Slyy Cooper of Dope Rebels. The three have stayed busy this summer, performing at Trans-Pecos, Aviv, Muchmore’s, and Silent Barn, making appearances on The Lot Radio, and Deem Spencer opening at Queens rep Nasty Nigel’s record release BBQ.

Joey Desktop brought some noontime reggae vibes before Marley G hopped on with some freestyles. DJ Flacko held it down with lots of hype. After playing some of our Queens guests’ tracks, Slyy Cooper spit live on air and Spenser Williams sang some sweetness to end the session.
