Judicious use of pause-button edits strike Geko’s dodgy male MC choices mostly from this historical record; everything I rip from the radio gets the same merciless treatment. (The historical record is meant to be scratched.) Mr Jones might gift us his entire set, but it’s been two weeks so here ya go, consider the fire lit… Live NYC radio at a particularly hot moment.

Some might not go in for the mashups and refix’s- but waking up on a Sunny day in hungary Hackney with the subs turned up this mix is a surefire winner.

It’s that time of year in Budapest. Sunglasses, legs, and the wonderful ice cold soda water and white wine fröccs. If there’s anything in the youth landscape here that says “emerging economy” its the prevalence of a water downed wine drink that comes in (according to a friend) ten ratios including the “artist’s” which is 1 part wine to 9 parts water. Not really, but he has a good mix up. If you liked Bok Bok’s mix from a while back you’ll dig this mix from fellow Night Slug L-Vis 1990. Sort of a swampy take on UK Funky house, with lots of dubplates. I like it.
