5 years ago Uproot Andy and I started a night for new latin music in New York City. We started small in Williamsburg, Brooklyn eventually moving up to bigger venues in Manhattan. We’ve toured internationally and represented global bass at events like the Red Bull Music Academy Culture Clash, Carnaval de Barranquilla, SXSW, Panamerika, most recently, started a record label together to start putting out some of remixes that we’ve come up with along the way.

This Saturday, NOV 9th, we’ll be at Le Poisson Rouge for our Cinco Añera with El Artesano, DJ Blass, one of the pioneering producers behind the reggaeton movement and huge inspiration to us both. I wrote an article about him a while back that you can still read here.
